Located close to Seneca Falls on the west side of Seneca Lake, Knapp Winery is easily accessible from the New York State Thruway. The Knapp estate encompasses 65 acres of land, 40 of which are currently cultivated for growing estate Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Lemberger, Sangiovese, Merlot, Baco Noir, Cayuga, Catawba, Seyval, Vignoles and DeChaunac.

Knapp Winery was the first winery in the Finger Lakes Appellation to plant and vinify the grape variety Cabernet Franc and also produces its own cordials and aperitifs, including the very popular Knapp Limoncello. The tasting room at Knapp offers a variety of wine for different palates which include dry, semi-dry, sweet red and white wines.

The winery also features the Knapp Vineyard Restaurant, known for its eclectic, casual, gourmet meals, using fresh, local ingredients from area farms along with herbs and vegetables from the winery’s own garden. The restaurant is just steps away from the tasting room and opens to an outdoor patio, shaded by a trellis of grape vines overlooking the estate vineyards.
