Palmer Hill Trail
There are three total trails within the Palmer Hill Trail System all providing stunning views of the Catskill Mountains
Located just north of the Catskills off NY 28, Palmer Hill is a 235-acre area with 3.1 miles of hiking trails with a delightful mix of forest and open fields. There are three total trails within the Palmer Hill Trail System with an access trail and two loop trails, all providing stunning views of the northern most Catskill Mountains.
The trailhead is located just off Route 28 between Margaretville and Andes (2 miles from downtown Andes and 9 miles from Margaretville), with parking available at the existing scenic overlook site on Finkle Road, just off NY 28 south of the town of Andes.
These trails are well maintained by the Catskill Mountain Club and can be enjoyed by families as well as novice and experienced hikers alike
