The seat of government operations for New York State, the Plaza occupies 98 acres of land and has more than 11,000 employees in 10 buildings.
 

Along with its events, the Plaza also features an ice rink, observation tower, the Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza Art Collection, Vietnam Memorial Gallery, the Egg Center for the Performing Arts and the New York State Museum.
