Moreau Lake State Park
In the summer, swim in Moreau Lake, fish, hike or paddle on the Hudson River and snowshoe, cross-country ski, skate and ice-fish in the winter.
The 4,531-acre state park Moreau Lake State Park is open year-round and features a beautiful lake surrounded by hardwood forests, pine stands and rocky ridges. The wooded campgrounds are quiet and secluded, offering tent and trailer sites as well as facilities for group campers. Also available for rent are cabins and cottages and accessible campsites intended for use by persons with disabilities.
Summer activities include swimming in Moreau Lake, fishing, hiking, or paddling on the Hudson River and beach lounges, beach umbrellas and fishing gear can be rented. Winter activities include snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, skating and ice-fishing. An historic cabin at the park was rehabilitated and turned into a winter warming lodge. Deer hunting is permitted in a limited area in season.

Other amenities include two pavilions, showers, nature trails and a playground.
PET POLICY: Household pets only, caged or on a leash. For campers, there is a two-pet maximum per pet-friendly site. Pets not permitted in buildings or bathing areas.
