Founded in 1977, the not-for-profit Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) is a venue for the exchange of ideas as well as a center for thoughtful contemporary art, providing unique encounters for audiences and opportunities for artists.

 
The center exhibits and supports contemporary art of all forms and is well known for its annual 6x6 exhibition which features thousands of original artworks (6” X 6”), made and donated by celebrities, international & local artists, designers, youth and anyone. Along with its exhibits, RoCo also hosts events throughout the year.
 

The center’s main gallery is fully wheelchair accessible.
