Enjoy the natural and historic aspects by walking the Charlie Major Nature Trail as it traverses along Skaneateles Creek between Old Seneca Turnpike and Crow Hill Road.


Once a railroad line known as the Skaneateles Short Line, today the rails are gone and a serene path follows Skaneateles Creek for part of its journey with a picnic area along the creek and a playground at the Mottville Trailhead for the kids to enjoy. Along the .8 mile pathway, keep on the lookout for relics and remnants from the days of the railroad.
