Open year round, Cole’s Woods opened the first lighted cross-country ski trails in North America in December of 1971. In addition to the flora, fauna and wildlife, the trails provide a great place for running, walking and biking in the warmer weather and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing in the winter.
 

The trails also play host to several cross-country ski races each year, along with running races and other community events.
