Originally called the Glens Falls Civic Center, Cool Insuring Arena is a 4,794-seat multi-purpose arena for exciting hockey action, concerts and much more. Built in 1979, it was originally the home of the Adirondack Red Wings, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings, and currently serves as the home of the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL.
 

The arena also hosts a variety of shows and events which include theater, comedy, dance, musicals, family shows, concerts, volleyball, ice skating, trade shows and more.
