DESCRIPTION:As the sun sets over the fields of Cliffdale Farm\, join us for a haunted Halloween event\, featuring nocturnal ambassador animals and a bat walk with Samantha Cronk of Westchester County Parks. \nSamantha Cronk is the Natural Resource Technician for the Westchester County Parks Conservation Division and holds a master’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Pace University. Her work focuses on wildlife monitoring and ecological research across a variety of species. Samantha currently leads a county-wide bat study to develop a species inventory across multiple parks using acoustic monitoring\, with the primary goal of identifying areas supporting species of special concern. \nTicket price includes refreshments\, Halloween treats\, beer and wine. Don your Halloween finest: a prize will be awarded for best costume. Keep it spooky but keep it safe by wearing comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. This event takes place outside and is for adults 21+.
