Johnson, also known as CoJo, is a singer-songwriter from Texas best known for the country hits “On My Way to You” and “Til You Can’t.” He’s collaborated with artists like Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson and Allison Krauss. Houser, whose hits include “How Country Feels,” “Like a Cowboy” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” will release his sixth album on Friday.

More than 130 trees are wrapped in colorful lights that illuminate the forest and will transport you to a winter wonderland while a new musical composition from Whatever Penny creates a magical three-dimension dreamy winter soundscape.
Wild Walk: We’ve strung the award-winning Wild Walk in tens of thousands of lights so you can experience the outdoors like never before. New winter installations provide Instagram-worthy photos and opportunities to create lifelong winter memories.
Stickwork: Patrick Dougherty’s “Hopscotch” glows and provides an opportunity for your imagination to run wild.
Indoors: Warm up inside with hot drinks, food, and an opportunity to check out the Living River Trail (otters included!). Interactive light up pieces like an oversized Lite Brite provides fun for kids and a chance for old school nostalgia for adults.

Visit the Botanical Gardens after dark for this magical experience. The Botanical Gardens and the plant collection will be highlighted with soft lighting to enhance the shapes, sizes, textures and colors of all the plants and the larger than life glass conservatory. Visitors will enjoy this Enchanted Winter Escape as light bounces off the glass and onto the plants, rocks glow through the desert and twinkling decorative elements hang over head. This is an illuminated self-guided tour into tropical flora is perfect for a date night, a day off from school with the kids and a fun night with friends. Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. The artists represented in it reflect the diversity of those who came to Woodstock, including Birge Harrison, Konrad Cramer, George Bellows, Eugene Speicher, Peggy Bacon, Rolph Scarlett and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, among many others. During this slow, mindful, and quiet walk, June will provide a series of relaxing invitations to engage all your senses, release your mind chatter, and deepen connections to nature, allowing you to connect with yourself and others through nature in new ways. You will have opportunities throughout for both individual reflection and to come together as a group to listen and share what we are noticing. The walk ends with a tea ceremony with wildcrafted tea foraged from the area and snacks as we gather around an outdoor fire where we start and end this 2 hour walk.

Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. The artists represented in it reflect the diversity of those who came to Woodstock, including Birge Harrison, Konrad Cramer, George Bellows, Eugene Speicher, Peggy Bacon, Rolph Scarlett and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, among many others. Wander into the Wild Center's enchanting, illuminated, winter wonderland to explore the sights and sounds of Wild Lights, presented by Merrill L. Thomas, Inc. More than 130 trees are wrapped in colorful lights that illuminate the forest and will transport you to a winter wonderland while a new musical composition from Whatever Penny creates a magical three-dimension dreamy winter soundscape.
Wild Walk: We’ve strung the award-winning Wild Walk in tens of thousands of lights so you can experience the outdoors like never before. New winter installations provide Instagram-worthy photos and opportunities to create lifelong winter memories.
Stickwork: Patrick Dougherty’s “Hopscotch” glows and provides an opportunity for your imagination to run wild.

Fire & Ice Bar at The Mill on Round Lake

The 6th Annual Fire & Ice Bar at The Mill on Round Lake is scheduled for the first three Fridays and Saturdays of February 2023. This frosty event features the longest ice bar in the Capital District and will include a live DJ, ice shuffle board, ice cornhole, fire pits, and hot chocolate cocktails to keep you warm.

Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. The artists represented in it reflect the diversity of those who came to Woodstock, including Birge Harrison, Konrad Cramer, George Bellows, Eugene Speicher, Peggy Bacon, Rolph Scarlett and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, among many others. Fire & Ice Bar at The Mill on Round Lake

The 6th Annual Fire & Ice Bar at The Mill on Round Lake is scheduled for the first three Fridays and Saturdays of February 2023. This frosty event features the longest ice bar in the Capital District and will include a live DJ, ice shuffle board, ice cornhole, fire pits, and hot chocolate cocktails to keep you warm.

Lake George Winter Carnival

Lake George Village offers a month-long celebration of winter during this annual family-friendly festival that takes place each weekend throughout February. Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. Water’s uniqueness defines winter. Through hands-on activities, we will learn about how water’s special properties create the beautiful, crystalline snowflakes of this season, and we will explore how the difference of only a few degrees in temperature can mean the difference between manageable rain and an unwieldy foot of snow. Join us for this family program as we discover the science behind one of the most important substances on Earth.

This program is designed for ages 7 and up.

Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. The artists represented in it reflect the diversity of those who came to Woodstock, including Birge Harrison, Konrad Cramer, George Bellows, Eugene Speicher, Peggy Bacon, Rolph Scarlett and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, among many others. Collection:” Illuminating America’s first Intentional art colony, this exhibition presents more than 100 artists whose paintings, sculptures, and works on paper together form an artistic history of national and international significance. Long before the music festival in 1969 made Woodstock, New York, famous, it was home to what is considered America’s first intentionally created, year-round arts colony—founded in 1902 and still thriving more than 100 years later. Collecting the remarkable range of work produced there was Anderson’s focus for three decades, resulting in the largest comprehensive assemblage of its type. The artists represented in it reflect the diversity of those who came to Woodstock, including Birge Harrison, Konrad Cramer, George Bellows, Eugene Speicher, Peggy Bacon, Rolph Scarlett and Yasuo Kuniyoshi, among many others.
