This unique 3D natural history museum offers the opportunity to get a good look at thousands of seashells and mollusks that have been living in the waterways. It also features an online seashell exhibit.
Using stereoscope photography, the museum provides 3-dimensional images with viewers specifically for viewing computer screens at a comfortable seated distance. This is supplemented by pictorial information on shell structure, the animals that form their shells, explorers, natural arithmetic and STEAM and what these animals look like in their natural environments.
Jewels of the Sea is FREE to the public and open on the last Saturday of the month.
