The more than 25 additional miles ofpark trails provide summer hiking and mountain biking as well as winter cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. The Lake Trail is a short, easy trail leading from the Nature Center to the lakeshore and is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs.
From September to October, enjoy the WildPlay Adventure Course with 15 zip lines, 60 aerial games, and a 40-foot jump.
The Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center is located two miles from the Overlook on Thompson's Lake and features exhibits, interactive displays, trails for hiking and skiing, and educational programs.
