Intersected by the St. Lawrence and Oswegatchie Rivers, Ogdensburg is the only designated city in St. Lawrence County. It has a rich history of commerce and trade, especially with Canadian neighbors just across the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge.

Ogdensburg is a must-see for American history enthusiasts with live battle reenactments hosted annually at the site of the former Fort de la Presentation where the last battle of the French and Indian War between France and Britain was waged more than 250 years ago.

Ogdensburg is also home to the Frederic Remington Museum and the Ogdensburg History Museum. Families can enjoy easy, scenic walks or bike rides along the river on the Maple City Trail. There is also an abundance of municipal outdoor recreation and a range of dining options, and plenty of ice cream for everyone!
