From Beginner to Expert - Check Out Bristol Mountain

Just 33 miles from the bustling city of Rochester is one of New York State’s premier ski resorts, Bristol Mountain Ski Resort. Offering 138 acres of total skiable terrain, including 3 km of Nordic trails, the mountain’s 1200’ vertical rise allows Bristol Mountain to reign as the highest vertical between the Adirondack/Laurentian Mountains of the east and the Rocky Mountains of the west.
Soaring zip line adventures are also available at Bristol Mountain with seven challenge courses featuring more than 5,000 feet of zip-lines. The Aerial Adventure Park at Bristol Mountain is a series of challenge courses with than 7 courses with varying levels of difficulty. Each course is made up of 12-15 elements all suspended from trees that include ziplines, tight rope walks, rope ladders, and bridges.
During the peak changing of the foliage in September and October, people of all ages can enjoy tranquil 15-20 minute Rides on the Ski lift and experience the changing colors of Bristol Hill below in all its splendor.
Views from the summit and the 35 slopes and trails are breathtaking and provide a variety of inclines for every skier and snowboarder from beginner to expert. During its night operating season, 96 percent of the trails have lighting. Open since 1964, Bristol Mountain Ski Resort has been a winter destination with a fun, family environment, creating a memorable experience for all ages.
