Chimney Bluffs State Park
Along with its amazing bluff formations, Chimney Bluffs Much offers photographers perfect sunset shots
Just minutes from the Sodus Bay area is easily one of New York's most gorgeous, but unusual parks, Chimney Bluffs State Park.
Featuring strange rock formations and spires carved by wind and water, nearly four miles of hiking trails traverse the park, with the most popular, the Bluff Trail, bringing hikers literally to the brink of thrilling cliffs made from glacial deposits and sculpted by harsh weather.
With a lush forest and lively swamps, there are also great opportunities for bird and wildlife watching. Much of the property overlooks the lake heading west, lending photographers perfect sunset shots.

The Park is open year round, and during the winter season, it is a great place to enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing.
