Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum
The 1816 Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum is only one of a few examples of Federal style remaining
The Granger Homestead and Carriage Museum offers an important 1816 mansion in the Federal style as there are few examples remaining of this type of house design. The property remained in the Granger family for four generations.
The carriage house contains a carriage museum and the two barns on the 10-acre (4.0 ha) hold close to 100 antique carriages and sleighs along with a large collection of original Granger family farming equipment.
The homestead is open for tours and also hosts events throughout the year.
