There is private boat docking available and one of the inn’s owners is a seasoned skipper, offering boat cruises through the locks along with dinner cruises.
Complimentary breakfast is an elegant candlelight affair served with fine china, silver and crystal and accommodations are made for special diet restrictions. Built in 1818, the mansion retains many of the original features, including five marble and stone fireplaces, wood spindle staircases, pocket doors and a tin ceiling remain as well as exquisite hand-carved moldings and cornices.
The River Edge Mansion is halfway between New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes and the amazing Thousand Islands and Seaway Trail. It is also only 12 minutes from Destiny USA, the largest shopping mall and entertainment complex in New York State.
