Sackets Harbor Battlefield State Historic Site played a significant military role in maritime history and is recognized by the National Park Service as one of the top 10 War of 1812 sites in the nation.


See the history unfold as it is interpreted by exhibits, guided and self-guided tours and, during the summer months, guides dressed in military clothing of 1813 reenact the camp life of the common soldier.
