Located in the heart of downtown Seneca Falls, you will learn how the Seneca River and the Cayuga-Seneca Canal powered the rise of industry and fostered cultural development, aiding the effort to spread social reform movements.


Visitors and children of all ages can explore hands-on and interactive displays and intriguing exhibits and artifacts. In 2010, the museum collocated with the Heritage Area Visitor Center to become Seneca Falls Visitor Center and Museum, serving more than 18,000 visitors a year!
