Built in 1807 as a stagecoach stop across the road from Skaneateles Lake, the Inn has been meticulously restored to the beauty of a bygone era with four fireplaces, pegged wood floors, antique furniture and fine wood detailing.

Only a 4-minute walk from the town center, the inn’s elegant rooms are individually decorated with period furnishings and feature WiFi; many have lake views and some offer fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, pull-out sofas and/or 4-poster beds. Suites add sitting rooms, and a family suite consists of 2 bedrooms. Free Continental breakfast is included and the fine dining restaurant serves traditional American fare. There's also a casual tavern with a wood-burning stove.
