Thompson Park Vortex Ghost trail
This Frederick Law Olmsted-designed park atop Watertown is said to contain a time vortex that transports those who discover it to another portion of the park
Over the past century, folks have regularly disappeared from Thompson Park – at least for a few minutes. When they suddenly return, they are disoriented and claiming to have had a visit to the past.
This Frederick Law Olmsted-designed park atop Watertown is said to contain a time vortex that transports those who discover it to another portion of the park. Eyewitnesses to the phenomenon have reported over the years that the location seems to move within the park. Many feel Thompson Park has a vortex that warps folks right out of time.
Some investigators believe that the warping effect is a result of EMF bands present in the area, which can cause nausea, confusion and hallucinations.
While the park is open year round, what better time to possibly experience a supernatural event than October!
