For more than 100 years, the Utica Zoo has brought education and respect for animals to young and old. Currently, the Utica Zoo cares for more than 200 animals representing 99 species.

The zoo’s Education Department cares for more than 55 individual animals representing 35 species, and these animals can be seen at birthday parties, on Zoomobiles and during educational classes and events. Open daily except for Thanksgiving and Christmas day.
