De Veaux Woods State Park
De Veaux Woods State Park opens year-round to visitors, from sunrise to sunset and admission is free
De Veaux Woods State Park has two ball diamonds, a playground, nature trails through a meadow and Old Growth Woods, and a path that leads across the Niagara Scenic Parkway to Whirlpool State Park with access to the Niagara gorge trail system.
Ten acres of the park is occupied by historic or old growth forest dating back before the time of the first European settlement in Western New York. De Veaux offers hiking and biking in the warmer season and cross-country skiing and ice skating in the winter.
De Veaux Woods State Park opens year-round to visitors, from sunrise to sunset and admission is free. The restroom facilities are available mid-April through late October.
PET POLICY: A maximum of two pets are allowed in day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length.
