Located within the 2,400-acre Saratoga Spa State Park, the museum is housed in the restored and renovated Saratoga Bottling Plant, a beautiful neo-classic structure built in 1934. The Museum is adjacent to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center and near the landmark Gideon Putnam Hotel.
 

The ground floor displays rotating exhibits and features a hands-on area for children, while the second floor houses offices, the New York State Stock Car Association Hall of Fame and permanent exhibit space which overlooks the first floor. The museum can display approximately thirty vehicles between three galleries.
