North-South Lake is the biggest and one of most popular state campground in the Catskill Forest Preserve, offering extraordinary scenic beauty and historical sites like Alligator Rock, Kaaterskill Falls and the former site of the Catskill Mountain House.
The campground boasts seven camping loops with more than 200 tent and trailer sites.
Amenities offered are two lakes and two beaches, two picnic areas with pavilions and two picnic areas with tables, fireplaces and charcoal grills, playground, flush toilets, hot showers, boat launch (no motorized vessels), rowboat, canoe, kayak and paddle boat rentals; volleyball; horseshoes, fishing, trailer dump station and more.
PET POLICY: Pets are welcome but must be leashed.
