Bowman Lake State Park
Bowman Lake is regularly stocked with trout, and birdwatchers can spot as many as 103 species of birds.
This 966-acre remote sylvan retreat offers scenic park roads that wind through evergreen and hardwood forests as well as a sandy lakefront beach.
Bowman Lake features shady campsites for both tents and trailers along with rustic cabins to rent and some seasonal sites. Other amenities offered are picnic areas, a nature center, nature trails, playground, boat launch and boat rentals.
