Take a ride on Wayne County’s Apple Trail. Wayne County, located on the southern shore of Lake Ontario between Rochester and Syracuse, is the number one apple producing county in New York State. This self-guided tour will take you along scenic country roads ablaze in autumn glory from market to market. 


Along the way, taste the different varieties and take the “Apple Taste Test.” Enjoy apples, baked goods, cider, fresh produce, door prize drawings and more at each location. Take the Apple Tour Challenge! Go to the website to download the tour passport to collect stamps at each local farm market along the journey to enter to win a prize at the end of the tour.
