Originally called the Glens Falls Civic Center, Cool Insuring Arena is a 4,794-seat multi-purpose arena for exciting hockey action, concerts and much more. Built in 1979, it was originally the home of the Adirondack Red Wings, AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings, and currently serves as the home of the Adirondack Thunder of the ECHL.
