This tranquil, family-owned KOA in the southern part of the Finger Lakes is only 20 minutes from Letchworth State Park, also known as the "Grand Canyon of the East." The campground offers both RV and tent sites as well as 4 cabins for rent. RV sites come with 30 to 50 AMP hook ups and all have full access to water, electric, sewer and cable. Tent sites are large and located in wooded areas and have water & electric.
 

Campers have access to both an indoor heated pool, an outdoor heated salt water pool, courts for basketball, volleyball and gaga ball, a playground with new equipment, and a general store. There is a pond with catch-and-release fishing, and a lodge with a stone fireplace. The lodge provides a beautiful atmosphere to create crafts or paint ceramics and even play arcade games.
 

Pets are welcome and although they need to be leashed at all times while in the campground, they can run large and have fun in the campground’s new dog park with agility equipment.


Enjoy themed weekend activities at the campground or venture out and visit one of the many lakes, historic towns or specific treasures of the area, like the Cuba Cheese Factory or the infamous Wellsville Balloon Festival.  The real attraction that everyone can’t wait to visit is Letchworth State Park where you can go hiking, take a raft down the river or just enjoy the waterfalls.  And when the day is done, come back to a campfire where you can sit and relax and listen to the night sounds and view the many stars up in the sky – all at the Houghton Letchworth KOA.
