Family-owned and operated K&G Sports Fishing features father-and-son team Capts. Greg (dad) and Chad Gehrig, trolling Lake Ontario for trophy king salmon, coho salmon, lake trout, brown trout, steel head, rainbow trout, walleye and small mouth bass.
Capt. Chad has grown up fishing on Lake Ontario and has more than 20 years of professional experience, having begun his career mating with his father at the age of 9. Today, he is the captain of SON OF A GUN, a rugged 40' Jersey Sportfisherman.
Capt. Chad's dad, Capt. Greg, primarily operates aboard the 40’ Jersey TOP GUN. With more than 30 years of experience fishing, he consistently guides 200 successful trips each year. Capt. Greg is also a fierce competitor in Lake Ontario fishing competitions, becoming a regular Top Five contender and guiding his guests to more than ,000 in prizes over the last 10 years.
Together, the team at K&G Sports Fishing has more than 50 years of fishing experience, boasting not just the largest fishing boats on Lake Ontario, but also luxury and comfort aboard their vessels along with the most up-to-date equipment to guarantee a wonderful fishing adventure.
