The Salmon River Lighthouse is one of three lighthouses along the Seaway Trail that can be rented for overnight stays
The historic Salmon River (Selkirk) Lighthouse & Marina is one of three lighthouses along the Seaway Trail that visitors can rent for overnight stays. Spend the night or a week in the 1838 fully operational, three-bedroom Selkirk Lighthouse or in one of the marina’s three rental cottages featuring a massive span of private, soft, sandy beach right on the shore of Lake Ontario.
The Lighthouse also boasts a marina where you can charter a boat with some of the finest charter boat captains in the region docked right at the marina who will help you bring home that trophy-sized King (Chinook) or Coho salmon, brown trout, lake trout, steelhead and bass. The river area around the Marina offers an excellent place for kyaking and canoeing as well.
PET POLICY: Pets are permitted only in the three (3) on-site cottages. Pets are not permitted in the Lighthouse at any time.
