Owned by the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC), the Cumming Nature Center is a 900-acre environmental education facility offering hiking and exploring trails, educational programs, and service-learning opportunities.


Winter is a beautiful time of year at Cumming Nature Center where you can enjoy 15 miles of groomed ski trails and a 3-mile loop for snowshoeing. If there's not enough snow to ski, enjoy the 6 miles of hiking trails available. There are also fun events for kids and families year-round.
 

Please note that skiing and snowshoeing is permitted on the trails only. Trails are not for sport competition and are patrolled by the Genesee Valley Nordic Ski Patrol. For safety, visitors must also stay off frozen ponds.
