While no swimming is allowed from the beach, it does serve as a kayak, canoe and paddleboard launch, all great ways to explore the Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow waterfronts and the Sleepy Hollow Lighthouse. The park also hosts events and entertainment.
Horan's Landing is at the southern edge of Sleepy Hollow's portion of the RiverWalk, which extends south through Tarrytown.
