Set on a 120-acre lake, Montgaup Pond offers large, wooded tent and trailer sites, many on the lake, including eight handicap accessible sites. The sandy beach also features accessible shower and an accessible trail next to the shower facility as well as an accessible observation deck on the water with picnic tables. None of the sites have water or electric.
 

Activities include swimming, hiking, fishing and boating (electric trolling, rowboats and canoes only – no trailered boats).
 

Campground amenities also include a picnic area with tables and grills, picnic pavilion rental, pay phones, flush toilets, hot showers, trailer dump station, recycling center and boat launch. Environmental and recreational programs are hosted from July to September.
 

The Catskill Fish Hatchery is just 3 miles from the campground, shopping centers, restaurants, theaters, and lounges are within 15 miles as well as golf courses and horseback riding facilities.
 

PET POLICY: Pets are welcome except at the beach, in picnic areas, or in any building.

Please note: This campground is approximately 40 miles from Margaretville and 41 miles from Phoenicia.
