This hike-in/hike-out campground offers both platform and primitive sites for limited-gear or the novice camper. Just 80 min from NYC via Metro North to the Beacon Train Station, you will be picked up at the Beacon Station and brought to your desired hike. While you hike into the camp enjoying your views, your gear will be transported and placed at your private camping site.

The platform site and firepits are covered in case of rain and there is also chow box with everything you will need for your stay, from pots and pans to a pad of paper and a deck of cards. Tents can be rented or you can bring your own. Primitive site campers will need to bring all of their own gear and forage or firewood.

No matter which type of camping you opt for the bathhouse has hot showers on one side, flush toilets on the other, and in the middle, sinks for cleaning up and sinks for dishes and two dryers in case your gear gets wet. There are also food options for purchase and delivery (to be cooked by the camper).
