One of the newest wine trails in Upstate New York, the Upper Hudson AVA strives to become renowned in the creation of world-class French American cold hardy wines.


The Upper Hudson Wine Trail Bill consists of an Upper Hudson East Trail and an Upper Hudson West Trail that extend for nearly 120 miles. Winding through the counties of Albany, Schenectady. Rensselaer, Saratoga, Washington and Montgomery in the Capital-Saratoga region, the Upper Hudson Wine Trail brings you through “Grandma Moses country” in Washington County to “horse racing country” in Saratoga County and the “Queen of American Lakes” in Warren County. It is also less than a half-day drive from New York City, Boston, and Montreal.
