August Rocks with Great Music, LIVE Concerts at the NYS Fair

Over the Fair’s 18 days, the Chevrolet Music Festival will feature concerts by Sheena Easton, Melisa Etheridge, Blue Oyster Cult, the Starship, Three Dog Night and other famous bands included with that day's $3 admission charge.

This year’s “Reimagined New York State Fair” takes place Aug. 20 through Sept. 6 and, while concertgoers will also see a change in some aspects of the fair, it is definitely not in the quality and excitement of its entertainment! Over the Fair’s 18 days, the Chevrolet Music Festival will feature some of the most famous bands and artists of our time.

From country to rock to nostalgia, this diverse lineup of talent and entertainment will suit everyone’s musical taste – and the concert of the day is included FREE with that day's general $3 admission to the Fair ! Attendance will be limited and concertgoers will need to pick up a free ticket to enter the concert area, in addition to the $3 admission ticket to the Fair.

 

Please note: Concert-area tickets will be free of charge and available until the attendance limit is reached, so plan to get there early. Concerts will be performed on both the Chevy Court and the Chevy Park stages. Food and beverages will be available inside the concert area.

Currently, the fair is opening this year with an increase to 100% capacity and reopen many popular buildings with additional vendors, given the significant progress New Yorkers have made against COVID-19.
