Along with its collections in the fine arts, Native American artifacts of the Upper Susquehanna region, and Southwestern pottery, baskets, and rugs, the museum also brings in exhibits that address ongoing and difficult social concerns such as AIDS, eating disorders, and indigenous rights.

All galleries are wheelchair accessible. There are also accessible parking spaces directly across from the first-floor entrance with a ramp and accessible bathrooms directly across from the Museum entrance.
