Open year-round, Niagara Falls State Park brings an added dimension when the snow flies and ice forms.

See this natural wonder transformed into a winter enchantment like no other. Framed by icicles and surrounded by a frozen mist, ice buildups help create an illusion of frozen falls. At night, colorful lights enhance the experience making it mystical and magical. The winter also brings the not-to-be-missed Fireworks Over the Falls.

The park’s Cave of the Winds is now open year-round so when winter hits, you can still experience the thrills of getting close to the Falls from one of the two open observation decks as you take an abbreviated journey under the Falls.

Or bundle up and borrow a pair of free snowshoes to help you navigate and enjoy this winter adventure. (Daily 10am - 2:30pm, weather permitting.)

The Aquarium of Niagara is also open.
