Established in 1885, the park is situated on 400 acres of lush terrain with its protected wildlife, renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted (who also designed New York City’s Central Park) has created a magical world that surrounds Niagara Falls which includes gardens, more than 15 miles of challenging hiking trails and stunning views at every turn no matter what the season - even winter!
While there, you can ride the Niagara Scenic Trolley for an historic overview, visit the Cave of the Winds to feel tropical-storm like conditions as you stand underneath the Bridal Veil Falls; take the elevator to the observation deck which provides the only panoramic view of all three Niagara Falls; step aboard the Maid of the Mist during the summer season, a popular boat tour which operates at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge; then visit the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, and the Aquarium of Niagara.
