Upstate Welcomes Adaptive Skiers
Avariety of Organizations and Skiing locations offer Adaptive Skiing and Winter Sports Programs throughout Upstate New York. (photo courtesy of Bellayre Mountain Ski Resort)
The Programs teach and assist adults and children with disabilities to become independent skiers and riders, through the use of special equipment and instruction. Rental equipment is available at many facilities.
