Robert G. Wehle State Park boasts 1,100 acres and more than 17,000 feet of spectacular Lake Ontario shoreline. The park’s network of carriage paths and foot-trails brings hikers through a diverse mixture of wetlands, woodlands, meadows and pasture lands. Its three miles of dramatic limestone cliffs – some reaching 80 feet high – provide a breathtaking scenic overlook before dropping down to Lake Ontario’s shoreline.
There is also a guest house and primitive cabin to rent along with more than 10 miles of hiking/mountain biking trails and cross-country skiing, maps, old barns and buildings that were part of the area, a memorial, bathrooms and visitor center, tennis courts, gazebos and cooking places for picnics. PET POLICY: Household pets are welcome but must be leashed. Campsites are limited to two household pets.
