Aug. 24-29 2021: First held in 1842, today the fair is a fun six-day extravaganza of food, midway rides and games and entertainment. The Dutchess County Fair encompasses agriculture, horticulture, turn-of-the-century treasures, a working blacksmith shop and gas-powered engine show, Pleasant Valley Historic Train Station, and much more.
