Canadian-American singer, songwriter, musician, and actress Alanis Morissette, appreciated for her emotive mezzo-soprano voice, produced Jagged Little Pill, a rock-oriented album in the 1995, which sold more than 33 million copies globally and is her most critically acclaimed work to date. In 1996, Morissette won four Grammy Awards, with Jagged Little Pill named album of the year and best rock album and “You Oughta Know” earning honors for best rock song and best female rock vocal performance.
