Alex Miller, whose take on traditional country landed him a shot on “American Idol” and a fan in show judge Luke Bryan, will perform at the 2021 Great New York State Fair. The recent high school graduate from Kentucky will take the Chevy Park stage at 2 p.m. Monday, August 30. Miller’s audition so impressed Bryan that the superstar grabbed his guitar and joined Miller in an impromptu duet of Merle Haggard’s “Big City” and got Miller an invitation to perform at the Grand Ole Opry. All concerts are sponsored by Chevrolet and are free with admission to the Fair.
