Learn about the making of this popular documentary, and watch clips focused on the 11 lighthouses located in the proposed Lake Ontario National Marine Sanctuary boundaries, from the Sodus Pierhead in Wayne County to Rock Island on the St. Lawrence Seaway. Learn when and why these lighthouses were built, the functions they served, and the people who spent their lives keeping the lights burning. Lighthouse keepers from across the area are invited to display. Light refreshments will be available. Join in-person or via computer; registration requested.
