In a single day, hundreds and sometimes thousands of raptors and other birds may pass Derby Hill Bird Observatory on their way north along the shore of Lake Ontario. Join Naturalist and former Derby Hill Hawk Counter Anna Stunkel to learn about these birds’ journeys, get an insider’s perspective on how and why this research is conducted, and learn some observation tips for watching raptors on the move. Online pre-registration required. No walk-ins accepted. This program is for adults. Cost: $6/members; $9/public
