The 2022 edition of Dickens Christmas opens at noon with Bright Friday featuring the World’s Smallest Christmas Parade. Step back in time and enjoy the holidays the old-fashioned way with Dickens Christmas as Charles Dickens and his entourage will meander down Fennell Street to Jordan Street to Genesee Street, ending on the porch of the Hannum House. Charles Dickens and his cast of more than 50 characters will interact with residents and visitors in the streets, stores, and restaurants. Don't miss lively acts at the Library, live music, unique shopping, wonderful food and horse and wagon rides around the Village. Dickens Christmas continues every Saturday and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m., through Dec. 19, with an abbreviated production (noon to 2:30 p.m.) Dec. 24. Dickens Christmas is a mask-friendly event and will follow all pandemic guidelines. Produced by Scarlett Rat Entertainment.
