The Mayfield Historical Society’s 31st Annual Christmas Open House at The Rice Homestead will be on Saturday, December 3rd from 12 - 4 p.m.  Musical entertainment by Fleur de Lys will be from 1 - 3 pm. Rooms will be decorated in the holiday spirit of yesteryear with fireplaces ablaze and homemade cookies and hot mulled cider served. Spinning and wool rug braiding demonstrations will be in The Loom Room and the very popular Homemade Pie Sale will be in the dining room.  Pies will be sold for $13 (cash please). Come early for best selection. This event is free and open to the public and refreshments are free.
