REO Speedwagon is back at Great NYS Fair!

They’re “Back on the Road Again.” Veteran New York State Fair performers, REO Speedwagon, will “Take it on the Run” to play at the Suburban Park Stage at 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 28.
Formed in 1967 and fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin since 1972, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. From 1977 to 1989, REO Speedwagon released nine consecutive albums all certified Platinum or higher. The band’s landmark Hi Infidelity album, which contained the massive hit singles “Keep On Loving You” and “Take It On the Run,” spent 15 weeks in the Number 1 slot in 1980. To date, REO Speedwagon has sold more than 40 million albums!
Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall (bass), Dave Amato (guitar), and Bryan Hitt (drums) are still electrifying audiences worldwide in concert with hits and fan-favorites.
REO Speedwagon’s performance, like all performances in the Chevrolet Music Series, is free with admission to the Fair.
